Our Story
Established in 2013, La Collina is the culmination of a family tradition in Italian dining that began in 2006. Our story started with a simple vision: to share authentic Italian flavours, the freshest ingredients, friendly service, and the true essence of Italian culture with our local communities. Over the years, we’ve brought that vision to life through several restaurants that helped shape who we are today. Our journey first began with Primavera in Dublin, where we introduced our passion for classic Italian dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and time-honoured recipes. After some years, we moved to Donegal and opened a bigger Pepperoni, focused on serving comforting Italian food to families and individuals.
Each step of this journey allowed us to perfect the essentials such as the highest quality of food, consistent service, and a genuine Italian dining atmosphere. These experiences all paved the way for La Collina, where we combine everything we have learned over nearly two decades in the industry.
Today, our team is proud to offer not just delicious Italian cuisine, but a dining experience shaped by years of dedication, passion, and hands-on expertise. At La Collina, every dish tells a story, one built on family, tradition, and a deep love for Italian culture.
Our Garden
We take pride in having our very own garden in Moycullen to supply us with vegetables! What began during lockdown as an opportunity to experiment and push our culinary creativity has evolved into an integral part of our kitchen. Today, our garden allows us to bring you exceptionally fresh, seasonal produce that enhances the quality and flavour of the dishes we serve every day.
In addition, we return composted food waste from the restaurant back into the garden’s soil, enriching it naturally and supporting a more sustainable cycle of growth. This closed-loop approach allows us to cultivate healthier soil, better vegetables, and a greener future for our restaurant and community.

That’s why we have been proud sponsors of the Galway Lawn Tennis Club in 2022 and 2023, helping to promote local sports and an active lifestyle.
